Real Madrid get Man City in pick of Champions League ties, (check out other ties)

The Champions League last-16 draw threw up a number of tasty ties – with Real Madrid v Man City the pick of the bunch.

Pep Guardiola’s men topped their group, but with Real Madrid coming second behind Paris Saint-Germain in Group A the two European giants have been thrown together sooner than expected.

Holders Liverpool also have a tough encounter with a Spanish side, with the current Premier League leaders drawn to face Atletico de Madrid.

And things aren’t much better for another English side, with Chelsea due to face Bayern Munich – who they beat in the final when claiming their only Champions League crown to date in 2012.

Elsewhere, runaway Ligue 1 table-toppers PSG have a tricky test against Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham take on RB Leipzig and Napoli are up against Barcelona.

The full draw is as follows:

Borussia Dortmund vs Paris Saint-Germain

Real Madrid vs Manchester City

Atalanta vs Valencia

Atletico de Madrid vs Liverpool

Chelsea vs Bayern Munich

Lyon vs Juventus
